PixiePen ("we," "our," or "the app") is a storytelling app for children and parents. This policy explains what the app stores and how that information is used.
We use this information to run the app: create accounts, save stories, let a parent approve a child’s story before it is shared, show the community, and build e-books. We do not sell personal information and we do not use it for third-party advertising or tracking.
PixiePen is made for children together with a parent. A child’s story is not published to the community until a linked parent approves it. Parents can review stories from the Parent Approvals screen.
We use Google Firebase (Authentication, Cloud Firestore, and Cloud Storage) to store accounts and stories. Speech recognition on Apple devices is provided by Apple. Google’s privacy policy is at https://policies.google.com/privacy. Apple’s privacy policy is at https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/.
Sign in, open Profile, then Settings, then Delete Account, and confirm with the account password. Deleting an account removes the profile, that account’s stories, e-books, and uploaded photos from PixiePen.
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it was last revised.
Questions about this policy can be sent through the PixiePen support page.
