Support for Tics Tacs & Toes
Help for multi-grid Tic Tac Toe—local play, CPU opponents, and online rooms.
How to Play (Quick Overview)
On a 3×3 board, play is like classic Tic Tac Toe. On larger boards, the field is made of many 3×3 areas. You score strikes by completing three in a row within those areas. When the full board is full (on large sizes), the player with the most strikes wins—or the game can end earlier on 3×3 when someone gets a line, depending on the mode.
Frequently Asked Questions
How do I start a local game?
From the home screen, choose solo/local flow, open Settings, pick a grid size and mode (e.g. you vs CPU or pass-and-play), then tap Start Game.
What do the different grid sizes mean?
3×3 is classic Tic Tac Toe. Larger sizes (6×6, 9×9, etc.) add many mini-grids and more strategy. Three-player modes are available on the larger boards.
How does online multiplayer work?
Choose online from the home flow. One player creates a game and gets a room code. Other players join with that same code. Everyone needs an internet connection.
My friend can't join—what should we try?
Double-check the room code (copy it carefully). Make sure both devices are online. If it still fails, leave the room and create a new game with a new code.
Does the app work offline?
Local play works without internet. Online multiplayer requires a working connection.
